Currently I’m approaching a season of change similarly to how in nature Spring and Autumn are the two seasons that are referred to as “the season of change”. Spring is about diving into new opportunities, cleaning out the cobwebs of winter, detoxing, and revving up the engine to prepare for the full-force energy of summer. Fall, on the other hand, is about a quieter kind of transition. Where as in the winter time you start to slow down

In spring, we watch the buds bloom into flowers. In autumn, we watch the green leaves turn red and begin to fall. To live in harmony with the seasons, the world tells us we must follow nature’s lead. In spring, we start new things and blossom into bright, shining versions of ourselves.

Autumn, on the other hand, is the time to re-evaluate what things we are holding onto that we no longer need. It’s a time to shed the old habits and patterns that no longer serve us. It’s a time to release, relax, and make more space in our lives for those things that matter most.

“And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due Season we will reap a Harvest.”

Galatians 6:9-10

Looking at the reflection of what the secular world tells us what a season of change is, I take time to examine my life as a Christian and see these changes for myself in how God helps us through are seasons.

My Spring season was the minute I started applying for Adventures In Missions. I prayed faithfully and starting seeking God on everything I evaluated in my life I know I needed direction in. Applying to AIM was not out of “aimless ambition”. Me applying was out of obedience to God’s will for my life saying FEAR will not hold me any longer! Doubt will not hold me any longer! . Scripture tells us that “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” 2 Timothy 1:7”. Receiving this truth from the word of God as revelation being revealed through me and not just mere heartfelt words, was such a pivotal moment for me. Knowing how I was living my life for many years before speaks volumes for me.

My excitement and desire for this new season from the moment I committed to now is still very prevalent. Even despite a few negative and doubtful comments made I still choose to listen to the assurance God has given me for this journey with him. I believe the enemy uses who is close to us to hurt us at times and me being aware of that, I chose not to take the bait Satan uses.

Despite those few negative words my excitement for my Spring season still remains. God showed me despite what anyone’s opinions are or comments I have already approved and that’s enough! Jesus comforted me during this time , and I felt joy bubbling up in my spirit!

Currently the news I have is we won’t be launching for the World Race America trip. Their wasn’t enough participants for this trip. so it was canceled. I’m feeling disappointed and it’s unfortunate but I will be okay. I know this opportunity has closed but, the Lord already has opened another door for a new season of change. My beautiful, serene, delightful, sweet, extremely hot Summer! Their is another program I was accepted to called World Race 11n11 .

This Journey is an 11 month missions opportunity to travel to 11 different countries in three different regions. I will be traveling through the Global South region of the world. Same organization AIM just a different program. Diverse ministry opportunities will be decided soon & specific places, but regardless of location the mission remains the same.

The call that God gave each of us is “The Great Commission found in Matthew 28:19-20: “Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. God has called us to live out the great commission! Not just memorized it, quote it, or do bible studies on it. All of those things are great to do but we must be doers of the word!

I reflect on Matthew 4:19-20 “Come, follow me,’ Jesus said, ‘and I will send you out to fish for people.’ At once they left their nets and followed him.”

God often uses the stories of fisherman in His Word. He wants us to literally “fish for men.” When He asks them to leave their nets, He’s talking about leaving our security, our comfort, and all that we know and follow HIM! For aren’t men more important than “fish?”

Reflecting on the these scriptures I see not a mere location it is designated too. I see the Lord desires for us to be his hands, feet, mouth piece and GO wherever the Holy Spirit leads us .

Many people need an encounter with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. So I say these things to say this, my Journey with what the Lord has told me remains the same. Even despite this change of location. I still desire to see Jesus in every part of my life and reach people who do not know him. My life is not my own any longer. It belongs to him Jesus.

I still believe the Lord can use this life-changing experience for the better to grow me in many ways through him. I’m thankful I can live in his freedom he has given me, and stay abiding in Christ love for me not only in this season but always. I choose to be obedient to Jesus Christ knowing he is the head of my life and follow through with this year long program.

During these summer months I will be in preparation for support raising & prayer daily preparing for this journey and direction that only comes from him. Seasons may change for us but God remains the sameGod’s love remains the same, who he is remains the same! I know if we allow Holy Spirit to lead us and nothing else but him, we will remain in his will for our lives. I refuse to receive lies from the enemy and others opinions. I will only receive life-giving words from the bread of life which is Jesus and his word .

God is taking me through similar seasons that the world identifies with but instead of secularism of the seasons my father is showing me what a Kingdom Kid of his own can be like in all seasons. Being a child of his I get to identify with who he says I AM.

I choose to meditate on what God says about me in these scriptures …

John 15:5 I am a branch of Jesus Christ, the true vine, and a channel of His life.

John 15:16 I have been chosen and appointed to bear fruit.

1 Corinthians 3:16 I am God’s temple.

2 Corinthians 5:17-21 I am a minister of reconciliation for God.

Ephesians 2:6 I am seated with Jesus Christ in the heavenly realm.

Ephesians 2:10 I am God’s workmanship.

Ephesians 3:12 I may approach God with freedom and confidence.

Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me.

as he molds my heart to be like him, I declare these scriptures become alive in me. Regardless of what seasons come in my life, he remains. This isn’t my trip or mission ultimately it’s his! It’s all about him. I’m just thankful to be used by God for his Glory to see his Kingdom established here on Earth. “Your Kingdom come your will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven”. I desire to reflect him more and more in every area of my life. The scripture that comes to mind is …

John 3:30

He must become greater and greater, and I must become less and less. NLT
